SCHOOLS’ COUNCIL
Governance
The Campbelltown Anglican Schools Council serves the community of the Macarthur Region by the provision of quality, affordable Christian education to students in Preparatory to Year 12.
The core purpose of Campbelltown Anglican Schools Council is to educate young people in ways consistent with the teaching of the Bible and gospel of Jesus Christ, and to maintain and uphold the Christian faith in teaching and practice.
The Campbelltown Anglican Schools Council was incorporated to establish and operate schools known as St Peter’s Anglican Primary School at Campbelltown and Broughton Anglican College at Menangle Park. The Schools Council is constituted by the Campbelltown Anglican Schools Ordinance 1985. Members of the Schools Council, other than those appointed by the Wollongong Regional Council of the Anglican Church of the Diocese of Sydney, are appointed by the Parish Council of Campbelltown Anglican Church.
