Alice in Wonderland Costume requirements

Alice in Wonderland Costume requirements

All students have been busily preparing for our school musical - Alice in Wonderland Jr - during their weekly music lessons.  It is exciting to be able to include our whole school as part of the performance.  Each grade has worked hard to learn the lyrics to specific songs and will join with our cast to present these to the wider community over five performances.

Costume requirements are included below. Please ensure that t-shirts are plain and are an appropriate length to cover the midriff section.  Sleeve length options are at the discretion of families, acknowledging the cooler weather, particularly for evening performances.  Blue denim lower half is required for all grades, with jeans being preferable, however, if shorts or skirts are chosen, they must be close to knee length.

Costumes will be required at school by Friday, 9 June (Week 7). The plain t-shirts will remain at school until the final evening performance, however, the denim jeans/shorts/skirts and white school sneakers will be sent home after being sighted by the classroom teacher.  Please ensure that your child’s shirt is labelled clearly.
For the performances, students will come to school in their denim jeans/shorts/skirts, white school sneakers and a different top (mufti).  They will change into, and out of, the plain t-shirt for the performances.   Students in Year 1 will also be able to come to school in mufti on these days.
