We seek to instil a strong sense of purpose and social responsibility. Our students are guided to embody compassion and thoughtfulness, developing their role as active members within our learning community and society. In this way, they are encouraged to reflect Christ-like values in every aspect of their lives.
At St Peter’s, we regard the primary years of education as foundational in preparing our students to become lifelong learners. With a future-focused mindset in all that we do, we strive to equip our students for their journey at St Peter’s and beyond. Guided by our core value, Life through Christ, we are dedicated to nurturing hearts for Jesus while fostering the academic, social and spiritual growth of young minds.
Our learning environments are designed to be safe, supportive and inclusive spaces where every student feels known and valued. We prioritise literacy and numeracy development through explicit instruction, laying strong foundations for knowledgeable, engaged learners. By exploring the curriculum through an inquiry lens, students navigate real-world challenges, deepen their critical and creative thinking and enhance their problem-solving abilities. They learn to identify meaningful actions that drive positive change, recognising how their contributions can have a broader impact on local, national and global communities.

The vision of Campbelltown Anglican Schools Council is to be a beacon to South – West Sydney that proclaims the gospel of forgiveness, hope and life through Jesus Christ, providing quality, visionary educational opportunities, encouraging a journey of lifelong learning.
To educate young people in ways consistent with the teaching of the Bible, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the doctrines of the Anglican Church in the Diocese of Sydney, through maintaining and upholding the Christian faith in teaching and learning.
St Peter’s can be traced as far back as the early 1800’s when the Reverend Thomas Reddall, the first Rector of St Peter’s Church, Campbelltown, established a school named St Peter’s Primary School on the Church site.
Reddall had a passion for education, together with a vision to establish similar independent schools.
Reverend Reddall was also a noted educationist and was given the added responsibility of being the first Director General of Education in New South Wales, while still the Rector of St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
The original St Peter’s School closed in the 1890’s but in 1983, St Peter’s Anglican Primary School was re-established by the then Rector of St Peter’s Anglican Church, Reverend Canon John Darlington. The school began with just 54 students but now caters for 550 students as well as Prep (Pre-Kindergarten) classes.
